LifeRoute Global Literacy Foundations is a learning program for teens and adults who did not get to finish school or cannot afford to go back right now. Some people had to stop school early. Some people live in places where school was not easy to attend. Some people just need more help with the basics. This program gives them another chance to learn. It is made to be simple, clear, and easy to follow. You can start at the level that feels right for you. You can move step by step and go at your own speed. The goal is to help every learner feel stronger and more confident.
The first part is Reading and Literacy. In this part, students learn phonics. Phonics teaches how letters make sounds and how sounds come together to make words. Learners start with easy sounds and slowly move to harder ones. They also practice sight words. Sight words are common words that we see all the time, like “the,” “and,” and “because.” Learning these words helps reading become faster. Students practice reading out loud so they can read smoothly. This is called reading fluency. They also learn how to understand what they read. This is called comprehension. It helps them know what a story or sentence is saying. They also practice functional reading. That means reading real things like forms, labels, signs, and simple instructions used in daily life.
The second part is Spelling and Writing. In this part, students learn how to spell words correctly. They learn how to build strong sentences. They learn simple grammar rules, like when to use capital letters and periods. They practice writing clear sentences that make sense. They learn how to put their thoughts in order. They also practice filling out simple forms. They learn how to write short messages and simple letters. Step by step, their writing becomes clearer and stronger. This helps them feel proud when they write.
The third part is Math for Real Life. In this part, students learn basic arithmetic. This includes adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers. They learn how to work with percentages in easy ways. They practice money math, like counting money and making change. They learn what budgeting means and how to plan how money is used. They learn simple ideas about taxes and how a paycheck is broken down. They also learn basic math used in construction and small businesses. These lessons help students understand numbers they see every day.
Each lesson in LifeRoute Global Literacy Foundations is made to be kind, patient, and easy to understand. The program is here to help people who want to grow and learn. It gives them the basic skills they need to read, write, and understand math better. Most of all, it helps learners feel proud of their progress and confident in themselves.
