🧠 Dual Diagnosis Skills (Functional, Not Therapy) *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.3 – Identifying Triggers in Everyday Life: Triggers are invisible cues that can reignite substance use or emotional instability. Identifying them is the cornerstone of dual diagnosis management. These triggers can come from stress, loneliness, certain people, or even specific memories. Awareness allows individuals to recognize their patterns before they escalate. Learning how to anticipate these moments empowers proactive responses—like breathing exercises or contacting a support system. Each identified trigger becomes a data point for self-understanding. The more clearly these moments are mapped, the more control one gains. Over time, what once felt overwhelming becomes predictable, manageable, and eventually less frequent.
