Lesson Overview

1.14 – Using Public Restrooms Safely and Respectfully: Public restrooms are shared spaces that require both caution and courtesy. Always wash hands with soap before leaving to stop germ spread. Avoid touching surfaces unnecessarily, and use paper towels for handles when possible. Flushing properly, disposing of paper in bins, and keeping counters clean respect others who follow. Using stalls quietly and giving space shows awareness and maturity. Never leave personal items behind or use products that create mess. Respecting privacy boundaries keeps everyone comfortable. Safety also means noticing surroundings and trusting instincts if a space feels unsafe. Clean habits in public bathrooms reflect discipline and respect that extend beyond hygiene—they show you understand community responsibility.
