Lesson Overview

1.6 – Accepting Setbacks Without Losing Progress: Setbacks happen in real life and do not mean you failed. Acceptance lets you learn instead of hide. First, pause and breathe to calm your body. Second, name what happened without harsh labels. Third, list one or two triggers that were active. Fourth, choose one small fix for next time. Fifth, tell a support person so shame does not grow. Keep your routines running even if your mood is low. Use a reflection log to capture facts, feelings, and choices. Turn the setback into data for your plan. Return to your next healthy step as soon as you can. Remember that progress is a long road made of many days.
