Lesson Overview

1.217 – What to Do When Someone Won’t Forgive You: Sometimes you can apologize, change, and still not receive forgiveness—and that’s hard. When someone won’t forgive you, it doesn’t mean your growth doesn’t matter. You can’t control another person’s timeline for healing. What you can do is keep living with integrity and showing through your actions that you’ve changed. Give people space while staying patient and kind. Some wounds take longer to heal, and that’s okay. The best thing you can do is prove your sincerity over time. Don’t force forgiveness or give up on yourself. Even if they can’t forgive yet, your continued effort still has value. Keep growing, learning, and doing good—you’re still becoming better, no matter who notices.
