5.8 – Controlling What You Share Online: Sharing online should feel like opening a window, not tearing down a wall. Before posting, ask, “Would I be okay if anyone saw this?” Once something is public, it’s nearly impossible to delete completely. Limit sharing of travel plans, locations, or private conversations. Review old posts that may no longer represent you. Choose platforms that respect user privacy. The less you share, the more control you keep over your story.
