Lesson Overview

1.4 – How Stress Affects Mental Well-Being: Stress is your body’s alarm system telling you to pay attention. A little stress can help you focus or act fast. Too much stress for too long wears you down. It can cause headaches, stomach issues, and trouble sleeping. It can make you snap at people or pull away. Learning simple stress tools can calm the alarm. Try slow breathing, short walks, and quick body stretches. Talk to someone you trust to let the pressure out. Set small goals so problems feel less huge. When you manage stress, you protect both your body and your mind.
