Lesson Overview

1.8 – The Mind-Body Connection Explained: Your body and mind talk to each other all day long. Stress can cause tight muscles, fast heartbeat, and shallow breathing. Calm thoughts can slow your pulse and relax your body. Food and sleep change your mood and focus. Movement sends “feel good” signals to your brain. Pain and illness can affect mood, and mood can affect pain. You can use your body to calm your mind through breath and posture. You can use your mind to help your body with kind thoughts and routines. Treat both with care and they support each other. This two-way road is a powerful tool for your well-being.
