Lesson Overview

3.1 – When Stress Is Normal and When It’s Not: Stress is a natural part of life and helps you stay alert or meet deadlines. But when stress never shuts off, it starts to hurt your body and mood. Normal stress passes once a problem is solved, while harmful stress keeps you tense even when things calm down. You might notice headaches, worry, or feeling tired for no reason. Learning to tell the difference helps you respond early. Daily stress relief—like deep breathing, stretching, or talking it out—keeps stress healthy instead of harmful. It’s okay to have stress; it means you care. The goal is balance, not zero pressure. When stress runs your life, it’s time to slow down and seek support.
