Lesson Overview

5.5 – Telehealth and Virtual Care: Telehealth allows you to talk with doctors or therapists by video, phone, or app instead of in person. It’s safe, private, and easy to use from home. It’s especially helpful for people in rural areas or with busy schedules. You can do therapy sessions, medication check-ins, or follow-ups online. You still have the same rights to privacy and respect as in an office visit. Make sure you have a quiet space and a good connection. Telehealth makes mental health care more accessible and flexible. Sometimes healing starts with just clicking “join meeting.”
