Lesson Overview

2.37 – The Role of Posture in Strength Expression: Posture affects how force travels through the body. Poor posture can limit strength even when muscles are strong. Rounded shoulders, weak hips, or unstable feet reduce power output. Proper alignment allows muscles to work together instead of against each other. Fixing posture often improves lifts without adding weight. Posture also protects joints by spreading load evenly. Small changes in stance or bar position can unlock immediate strength gains. Many injuries come from force leaking through poor alignment. Training posture improves balance, control, and confidence under load. Postural work is not separate from strength work, it supports it. This lesson teaches awareness of body position in every lift. When posture improves, strength feels smoother and safer.
