Lesson Overview

2.5 – Looking for Patterns of Problem Behaviors: Problem behaviors often repeat under similar conditions. They may appear at certain times, with certain people, or during certain emotions. Spotting these patterns makes change possible. A behavior that seems random usually has a reason behind it. Writing or charting events brings hidden links to light. Once patterns are clear, you can act before problems grow. You can replace stress points with helpful supports. Recognizing triggers lowers blame and raises understanding. Over time, patterns become predictable—and predictability brings calm.
