Lesson Overview

1.2 – Identifying Beliefs That Shape Decisions: Beliefs are the stories you tell yourself about how the world works. They can come from family, culture, faith, school, or personal experience. Some beliefs help you grow, like “I can learn hard things.” Some beliefs hold you back, like “I always fail.” Beliefs influence what you try, what you avoid, and how you treat people. You can question beliefs by asking where they came from and whether they are still true. Try testing a belief with small actions and real results. Keep the beliefs that help you act with courage and kindness. Let go of beliefs that cause fear, shame, or disrespect. Choose beliefs that lead to better choices and a stronger you.
