Lesson Overview

1.4 – Understanding the Difference Between Values and Goals: Values are what matter most to you; goals are targets you aim to reach. Values guide your path; goals mark steps on that path. Values do not end, while goals can be finished and replaced. You can have a goal to save $500, but the value might be security or responsibility. When goals match values, motivation stays strong. When they clash, you feel stuck or guilty. If a goal fails, your values can help you reset and try again. Start by naming the value, then pick a goal that shows it in action. That simple link keeps you focused and proud of each step.
