Lesson Overview

3.1 – Naming and Identifying Core Emotions: Emotions are like signals that tell you what is happening inside. Naming them helps you understand what your body and mind need. Sometimes feelings hide under other feelings—anger can mask hurt, or sadness can hide fear. Learning the main emotion families like happiness, sadness, anger, and fear helps you sort them out. When you can name what you feel, it loses some of its power to confuse you. Writing, speaking, or even drawing emotions helps them make sense. Over time, your emotional vocabulary grows stronger. The more precisely you name your feelings, the easier it becomes to manage them and express yourself clearly.
