Lesson Overview

2.9 – Overcoming Motivation Slumps: Everyone experiences dips in motivation, but they don’t have to stop progress. Slumps usually happen when goals feel too big or unclear. Simplify your task to something you can do right now. Sometimes just starting reignites your energy. Change your environment to spark new focus. Rest if you’re drained—fatigue often hides behind “laziness.” Revisit your reason for starting and remind yourself of past wins. Add a short-term reward to make effort more appealing. Surround yourself with support or reminders of your progress. Motivation returns when action starts again, even in small ways.
