Lesson Overview

7.11 – Cognitive Reframing to Reduce Cravings: Cravings start in your thoughts before they reach your actions. Cognitive reframing means changing how you think about those urges. Instead of saying, “I need this,” try “I want something that helps me feel better.” This shift gives your brain a pause to choose differently. You learn to see the craving as a message, not a command. The more often you reframe, the weaker the craving’s pull becomes. Pair this with breathing or short delays to reset your mind. Reframing transforms struggle into skill. You’re not fighting your thoughts—you’re retraining them.
