Lesson Overview

6.7 – Practicing Self-Awareness in Conversations: It’s easy to lose self-awareness when emotions run high during conversations. Practicing awareness means noticing your tone, words, and body language as you speak. You also learn to sense how the other person feels without reacting too quickly. When you stay grounded, you listen better and speak more clearly. Taking a small breath before replying gives your brain time to think. You can recognize when defensiveness starts to rise and pause it early. This awareness turns conflict into understanding instead of tension. Being mindful while communicating builds respect and trust. Every interaction becomes a chance to practice presence. Awareness makes your connections deeper and calmer.
