Lesson Overview

3.11 – Managing Anxiety Around Taking Action: Anxiety before action is common when you fear mistakes or judgment. It often shows up as overthinking or avoidance. Managing it starts with breathing slowly and grounding yourself. Break the action into the smallest possible first step. Remind yourself that discomfort doesn’t mean danger. Practice self-compassion and talk to yourself kindly. Movement or stretching can help release physical tension. Visualize the relief you’ll feel after completing the task. Each time you act through anxiety, your brain learns it’s safe to keep going. With repetition, anxiety loses its control over your choices.
