Lesson Overview

9.12 – The Role of Identity in Long-Term Change: The strongest habits come from seeing yourself as the kind of person who does them. Identity-based habits last because they’re part of who you are, not just what you do. Instead of saying, “I’m trying to run,” say, “I’m a runner.” Your brain aligns actions with your self-image. Every time you act according to that identity, it becomes stronger. Focus on who you want to become, not just what you want to achieve. Change that starts with identity becomes natural, not forced.
