Deep belly breaths lower heart rate and clear racing thoughts. Counting your breaths can help you stay focused and present. Try breathing in for four seconds and out for six to relax tension. You can practice this anywhere—at work, in traffic, or during talks. Breathing helps emotions settle so words come out calmer. When people around you see your calm energy, they start matching it. Breath creates space between feeling and reaction. With practice, calm becomes your default, not your struggle.
