Avoid confrontations that risk emotional or physical danger. Prepare safe exit strategies or support contacts. Communicate clearly when ending ties, if possible. Block or limit contact when boundaries fail. Replace old routines with new, positive habits. Seek professional or peer support for closure. Document threats or harassment if needed. Leaving safely is an act of self-respect.
