Lesson Overview

8.10 – Understanding the Consequences of Violations: Violations carry both short- and long-term risks. Consequences range from warnings to jail time. Repeated noncompliance signals unreliability to courts. Financial penalties or revoked privileges may follow. Missed deadlines can restart supervision periods. Violations also harm housing and job stability. Knowing this motivates consistent discipline. Report and correct small issues immediately. Officers prefer honesty over surprise violations. Prevention is always less painful than repair.
