Lesson Overview

3.11 – Learning How to Redirect Energy Into Movement: Physical activity transforms mental tension into kinetic release. Movement—whether walking, stretching, or dancing—burns off restless energy that fuels cravings. Exercise also produces dopamine, the same neurotransmitter that cravings exploit, but through healthy means. Redirecting energy teaches the body that fulfillment doesn’t require risk. Over time, movement becomes a natural substitute for escape behaviors. It reinforces mind-body integration and emotional clarity. This shift builds stamina, self-respect, and a renewed sense of vitality that counters the emotional fatigue of addiction.
