Lesson Overview

3.11 – Responding Respectfully to Feedback You Disagree With: Not all feedback will feel fair or accurate. Still, responding with respect keeps communication healthy. You can say, “I appreciate your thoughts; I see it differently.” This shows maturity without starting an argument. Listening fully before replying builds understanding. Ask for examples to clarify the other person’s view. Avoid interrupting or defending too quickly. Respectful disagreement can still lead to valuable insights. It shows you are open to learning even when you hold your ground. Calm tone and kind words protect the relationship. Disagreeing well is a skill that earns trust and respect.
