💬 Feedback & Communication Repair *coming soon

Lesson Overview

6.7 – Listening Without Trying to “Fix” Too Quickly: When someone shares a problem, it’s natural to want to solve it right away—but often they just need to be heard. Jumping to solutions too soon can make the speaker feel dismissed. Real listening means sitting with the emotion before offering advice. Phrases like “That sounds hard” or “I understand how that feels” show empathy. Giving people space to process helps them find clarity on their own. Fixing comes later; connection comes first. Listening without rushing builds safety and trust. The gift of presence is sometimes the best solution of all.
