🧠 Short-Term Memory & Focus Training
Course overview
Lesson Overview

6.11 – Maintaining Focus During Boring Tasks: Boring tasks still matter, and you can make them doable with structure and small rewards. Start by clarifying the finish line: what exactly counts as “done” for this block? Use a timer to create urgency and a checklist to show progress. Add light stimulation that doesn’t distract—soft instrumental music, a tidy workspace, or a stretch between steps. Turn the task into a mini-game: count how many items you can complete in ten minutes with zero errors. Celebrate completion with a healthy treat or a short movement break. You’re training your brain to stay present, not to love the task. Consistency beats drama every time.
