🧠 Short-Term Memory & Focus Training

Lesson Overview

6.15 – The Connection Between Emotions and Focus: Emotions are not the enemy of focus; they are the signal system that guides it. Anxiety can shrink attention to tiny details, while frustration can scatter it. Joy can widen curiosity and speed learning. Begin each work block with a quick mood check and match your plan to your state. If you feel tense, slow the task and simplify inputs. If you feel flat, use a short energizer—music, movement, sunlight—to lift your level. Name the feeling, then choose a helpful action. When you work with emotions instead of against them, your attention becomes stable, flexible, and human.
