Lesson Overview

7.12 – How to Write Memory Triggers for Future Use: Memory triggers are brief cues designed to reopen a stored idea quickly. Write one or two powerful words, a symbol, or a short phrase that instantly recalls a full concept when you reread it later. For example, “bridge = connect ideas” might remind you of a detailed metaphor you built in class. Keep triggers unique and emotionally charged; the stronger the feeling behind them, the easier they pull memory forward. Review and rewrite triggers often so they stay relevant. A well-crafted trigger becomes a switch that lights up entire chains of thought in seconds.
