6.6 – How to Track Mental Energy Throughout the Day: Mental energy changes like a battery level, and tracking it helps you plan smarter. Use a simple 1–5 score every hour to mark alertness, focus, and mood. Note what you were doing, where you were, and who was around. Patterns will appear: your strongest hours, your draining activities, and the conditions that lift you. Pair high-energy windows with complex tasks, and place easier steps during dips. Use food, water, and short movement breaks to recharge when numbers fall. Adjust gently instead of forcing performance you don’t have. This steady feedback loop turns each day into an experiment you can actually win. As you learn your energy rhythm, your plan becomes both kinder and more powerful.
