🛡️ Teen Boundaries, Consent, and the Law: What Teens Must Know About Sexual Misconduct *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.18 – Filming or Photographing Without Consent: Taking photos or videos of someone in private moments or without their permission is a serious violation of trust and privacy. Even if you think it’s harmless or funny, it can deeply hurt the person and damage their reputation. Sharing or posting those images online can destroy lives and is against the law. Everyone has the right to control how their body and image are seen by others. Consent must always come before taking or sharing any picture, especially in private situations. Technology doesn’t make it okay to invade someone’s space or record their body. Doing so can lead to criminal charges and lifelong consequences. Respecting privacy means treating others the way you’d want to be treated. Think before you take or share — what seems small to you can have huge emotional impact. Protecting others’ privacy shows real character and empathy.
