🛡️ Teen Boundaries, Consent, and the Law: What Teens Must Know About Sexual Misconduct *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.29 – Love Bombing and Control: Love bombing happens when someone showers you with attention, gifts, and words of affection too quickly, making you feel special fast. But then they start using that closeness to control what you do, who you see, or how you feel. The sudden affection can be confusing—it feels good at first, but later feels like you’re being watched or managed. They may act jealous when you talk to others or guilt you for wanting space. Love bombing is not real love; it’s a trap to keep you close. Real love grows slowly and gives freedom, not control. If someone’s love feels overwhelming or changes into control, that’s a red flag. Trust should never feel like a leash. Real care makes you feel calm and safe, not smothered.
