🛡️ Teen Boundaries, Consent, and the Law: What Teens Must Know About Sexual Misconduct *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.48 – Will People Blame You? (No.): Some survivors worry they’ll be blamed for what happened, but responsibility always belongs to the person who caused harm. No one asks to be assaulted or manipulated. People might have opinions or misunderstandings, but that doesn’t make them right. The truth is, you did nothing to deserve it — not your clothes, your choices, or your actions. Victim-blaming often comes from people’s discomfort or denial. You don’t have to carry their shame or confusion. Real support looks like believing, listening, and protecting you. When you find people who respond with care, hold on to them. You can rise above judgment by remembering that being honest is an act of courage. Standing in your truth is how healing begins and how others learn compassion.
