🛡️ Teen Boundaries, Consent, and the Law: What Teens Must Know About Sexual Misconduct *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.32 – When Someone Threatens to Hurt Themselves: When someone says they’ll hurt themselves if you don’t give them what they want, they’re using fear to control you. That kind of threat is emotional blackmail, not love. It puts you in a painful position, but their safety is not your responsibility alone. You can care about them and still protect your own boundaries. It’s okay to tell a trusted adult or call for help if someone makes this threat. Real love never forces you to stay through fear or guilt. If they need help, professionals and crisis lines are there for that. You deserve safety and peace without carrying someone else’s threats. It’s not your job to fix them—it’s your job to stay safe.
