🛡️ Teen Survival Guide for Police Encounters
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.17 – What to Do If You’re Chased by Police (Foot or Car): A chase raises risk instantly — for you and everyone nearby. If lights flash or you’re told to stop, do it right away. Running multiplies danger; it makes even small issues look serious. If you panic and move, slow yourself and surrender as soon as possible. Put your hands up and drop anything in your hands. Do not turn around fast or reach down. Stay visible and follow instructions exactly. In a car, pull over safely, turn off the engine, and put your hands outside the window. Escaping is never safer than stopping. You cannot outrun consequences, but you can outsmart chaos by ending it fast.
