Lesson Overview

9.1 – Ectomorph, Mesomorph, Endomorph Basics: Body types describe how your body naturally builds muscle, stores fat, and uses energy, helping you choose strategies that fit your unique needs. Ectomorphs usually have long limbs, fast metabolisms, and may struggle to gain weight or muscle. Mesomorphs tend to build muscle more easily and often have a naturally athletic shape. Endomorphs store fat more quickly and may need extra support to manage weight while still growing strength. These categories are just general guides and do not define your limits or abilities. Understanding your tendencies helps you choose the best balance of training, nutrition, and recovery. Your body may show traits from more than one type, and that flexibility gives you room to explore what works best. Knowing your type helps you avoid comparing your progress to others and focus on your own success. Body types are tools for guidance, not labels that control your journey.
