2.3 – Tracking Your Stress Levels Throughout the Day: Stress is not the same every hour, and tracking it helps you see patterns that might surprise you. You may feel calm in the morning and overwhelmed by afternoon tasks or the opposite depending on your daily rhythm. Keeping notes in your phone or a small journal can help you record when stress rises and why. You can track your physical signs, like headaches or tense shoulders, and emotional signs like irritation or worry. Rating your stress from low to high a few times a day lets you see when you need breaks before stress grows too strong. Over time, this tracking helps you predict when support or coping tools will help most. You start to catch stress early instead of waiting until it becomes too much. Understanding your daily stress pattern gives you more control over how you feel and react.
