Lesson Overview

7.2 – Building a Self-Check-In Routine: A self-check-in routine is a simple daily habit where you pause to notice how you’re feeling emotionally and physically. You might ask yourself questions like “What do I need?” or “What feels heavy right now?” to understand what is happening inside you. These check-ins help you catch stress early, before it grows into burnout or emotional overload. You can check in when you wake up, during a break, or before going to sleep. Writing your feelings down or rating your mood on a scale can show patterns that help you understand yourself better. The more often you check in, the easier it becomes to know when to rest, breathe, or ask for support. Self-check-ins give you permission to care for yourself instead of ignoring your needs until you can’t anymore. They remind you that your well-being deserves daily attention.
