⚠️ Crisis Prevention & De-escalation Skills *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.26 – Recognizing Sudden Changes in Behavior: Crisis often shows itself through fast changes in mood or action. A person may shift from calm to angry, or quiet to reckless, without warning. These changes are signals that something deeper is brewing. Watching for patterns helps identify rising distress before it peaks. Sudden shifts in sleep, appetite, or communication can also be red flags. Noticing them early invites support and empathy. Avoid assuming it’s “just a phase”—it may be a plea for help. Observing with care instead of criticism opens doors for connection. Awareness saves time, prevents harm, and shows that someone is not alone.
