Lesson Overview

8.5 – Developing a “Calm Down” Action List: A calm-down list is your set of tools for when stress starts to rise. It can include deep breathing, stretching, walking, or listening to music. Some people add names of safe places or comforting objects. Writing them down makes them easier to remember under pressure. You can rate each tool from 1 to 5 to see which works best. Reviewing and updating your list keeps it useful. The more you practice these actions, the faster they calm your system when needed.
