Lesson Overview

2.6 – Identifying Important Community Signs (Hospitals, Police, etc.): Some signs protect you by showing where to find help fast. Hospitals often use a white “H” on a blue background. Police stations may use badges or shield icons. Fire stations, libraries, and schools each have their own recognizable signs. Learning what they look like helps in emergencies. When you notice them during calm times, you can recall them quickly under stress. These places also provide directions or safe waiting spots if you’re lost. Spotting them builds safety awareness and confidence. Taking note of help centers on your regular routes keeps you prepared. The more familiar you are with these symbols, the faster you can act when needed.
