Lesson Overview

7.6 – Recognizing Safe Places to Wait for Help: If you’re lost or facing delays, choose safe places to stay while you figure things out. Look for public spots like libraries, stores, police stations, or transit centers. Stay visible and avoid isolated or dark areas. Sit near families, employees, or security when possible. If it’s nighttime, wait under lights or near open businesses. Safe waiting areas give you time to think and plan calmly. Keeping your belongings close adds extra security. Avoid wandering aimlessly until you have a clear direction. Trust your instincts—if a place feels unsafe, move somewhere better. Smart waiting spots help you stay protected while you regroup.
