Lesson Overview

3.6 – Considering Alternate Routes in Case of Delays: Alternate routes are your travel backup plan. Buses can break down or roads can close unexpectedly. Knowing two or three ways to get to your destination helps you adapt. Apps often show real-time options when something changes. Writing alternate stops or trains in a notebook keeps them handy. Practicing different paths builds flexible thinking. It also keeps you from feeling trapped during delays. Alternate routes can include walking, rideshare, or another bus line. The goal is to stay calm and move safely to your destination. Flexibility is a big part of independent travel confidence.
