Lesson Overview

5.11 – Crossing at Intersections with Confidence: Intersections can feel busy, but calm focus keeps you safe. Start by observing all lights and signals carefully. Wait until vehicles have fully stopped before you move. Step forward with steady pace, not rush. Make eye contact with turning drivers as you pass. Use sidewalks and follow the crossing lines clearly. Avoid crossing diagonally unless marked for it. Keep scanning both sides until you finish crossing. Confidence comes from awareness and routine practice. When you cross with purpose and alertness, drivers notice and respect your movement.
