Lesson Overview

10.8 – Handling Disagreements With Respect: Disagreements are normal and healthy when handled kindly. Start with listening before explaining your side. Keep voices calm and avoid interrupting or mocking. Focus on solving the issue, not proving who’s right. Use “we” language to show teamwork instead of division. Take breaks when emotions get too strong to think clearly. Return later to finish the talk with calm minds. Model accepting compromise as a win for both sides. Reflect afterward on what helped the discussion go well. Respectful conflict turns tension into understanding and growth.
