Lesson Overview

6.9 – Building Sibling Empathy Skills: Empathy is the bridge that softens rivalry. Teach children to pause and imagine the other’s feelings. Use gentle reflection like, “How do you think they felt when that happened?” Praise small acts of kindness or sharing. Tell stories that show compassion in action. Model empathy in your own reactions toward them. Encourage siblings to comfort each other when upset. Practice switching roles in games or problem-solving. Over time, empathy replaces envy with understanding. Sibling hearts grow closer when they learn to feel together.
