Lesson Overview

1.14 – Visualizing Your Role in the Community: Imagining your place in the community helps you understand how you can contribute and belong. You might picture yourself helping plan activities, starting conversations, or welcoming new people. Visualizing builds confidence because you can see yourself taking action before it happens. It helps you recognize the strengths you already have and how to use them with others. When you picture success, it becomes easier to reach for it in real life. You learn which groups or events match your interests and goals. Seeing your future involvement can inspire you to take the first step. Visualization also prepares you to handle nervous feelings with a plan. Your role may grow over time as you become more comfortable. Every community needs people like you who are willing to imagine making a difference.
