1.5 – Recognizing the Role of Community Support: Community support means people helping each other with problems both big and small. When someone needs food, advice, or someone to listen, the community steps in. Support can come from neighbors, teachers, clubs, or even local programs. Knowing help is available makes life less stressful and more hopeful. You learn that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. Helping others creates strong bonds and trust that grows over time. Support also teaches responsibility, because someday you may be the one offering help. A community that supports each other stays safer and more united. When people work together, challenges become easier to solve. Everyone benefits when support is given and shared with kindness.
