Lesson Overview

10.7 – Anchoring Routines to Existing Habits: Anchoring means attaching a new habit to one you already do. It makes learning easier because your brain connects the new action to something familiar. For example, after brushing your teeth, you might review your schedule. Over time, the new habit becomes part of your automatic flow. Anchoring uses your brain’s natural pattern system to support growth without extra effort. It’s one of the simplest ways to build consistency. This strategy turns healthy actions into natural parts of your everyday rhythm.
