Lesson Overview

1.5 – Recognizing Patterns in Your Thinking: Your mind uses patterns to save time and effort. Some patterns are helpful and keep you on track. Some patterns are unhelpful and lead to the same problems. Noticing what you think before you act is a superpower. Look for words like “always” and “never” that may be false. Watch for jumping to conclusions without enough facts. Watch for mind reading or assuming the worst. Replace unhelpful patterns with fair, testable thoughts. Practice new patterns until they feel natural. Better patterns lead to better actions and results.
